One month a year celebration

Can you imagine having a house where you would only live one month a year? In this castle, that's how it was!

The Baron and Baroness, to whom the castle belonged, invited all family, friends and acquaintances every September. To come and stay, party, eat good food and do fun things. They were quite rich, so everything was super-deluxe!

(Too) crazy guests

The guests were also special: movie stars, fashion designers, writers, artists, people from nobility and royal families... All (too) crazy!

During the treasure hunt '(Too) crazy guests' you will discover special facts about the castle, the baron, baroness and their special guests!

Visitor information

The treasure hunt takes children on a playful tour of all the rooms in the castle and introduces them to the history of the building, the Van Zuylen van Nijevelt family and their special guests.

Suitable for children ages 6 and up, with some help. Suitable to do independently for children ages 8 and up. There is also a version for younger children.

This scavenger hunt is included free with castle visits and can be picked up at the museum store.
