21 and 22 June 2025

On June 21 and 22, Kasteel de Haar will be the setting for the AFAS Kastelloop (running), the Castle Walk and the Castle Tour (cycling). The most beautiful sports event in the Central Netherlands for young and old is originally an initiative of Sara Watson (granddaughter of Baron Thierry). The running, walking and cycling routes of different distances start and finish at Kasteel de Haar and run over the beautiful surrounding landscape, with the castle regularly as background.

FOR ALL AGES AND CONDITIONS

On Saturday, June 21, the third edition of the Kastelentour takes place, where participants can choose from a bicycle route of 70, 110 or 150 km along the most beautiful castles and forts in the Green Heart. Walkers can choose this day for a castle walk of 13 or 21 km on the estate Haarzuilens.

Sunday, June 22, is the running day, on which the youngest participants kick off with the Knights and Lady's Run of 2 km, followed by the distances for sportsmen 12 years and older of 5 and 10 km and the half marathon.

RUN FOR KWF

This year, the AFAS Kasteelloop de Haar supports KWF Kankerbestrijding. The organization is calling on all participants to give their run extra meaning by getting sponsored.
