Baron Etienne and Baroness Hélène had a lush park around the castle of no less than 55 acres laid out. Landscape architect Hendrik Copijn was commissioned to design it not only as a showpiece, but also as a place where they could enjoy themselves with their guests from the international jet set.

This Father's Day, enjoy a wonderful stay in the gardens just like the guests of old. Come for a walk, admire the deer and get lost in the Maze and enjoy a cozy picnic together. Lovers of thrills and games can play the game "Mystery in the Castle Garden. In combination with (the answers to) the questions you will learn a part of the unique history of Castle de Haar and its noble inhabitants.

A picnic blanket to spread out in a spot of your choice in the castle gardens - next to the Deer Park, in a quiet shady spot or just in a sunny corner.

Practical information

The picnic basket can be picked up between 10:30 and 12:30. Price: € 38,50 per person, max. 4 persons per basket. For the basket and cloth we ask € 50,- deposit. The Museum Annual Card and the Friends Lottery VIP CARD are not valid in combination with the Father's Day package.
