Trainee Sales & Events

From September 2026 | minimum 4 months | minimum 24 hours per week

During this internship you will participate fully in the enthusiastic team of Sales & Events and get a good picture of the commercial and organizational side of our department. You will support the contact with clients, help with the processing of requests and think about suitable opportunities for castle visits, hospitality, weddings and events.

You will learn how requests are managed from beginning to end and how to help clients in a hospitable and professional manner. You will mainly work on the preparation and handling of requests, offers, appointments and viewings. An instructive and varied internship for students who want to gain experience in sales, hospitality and event management at a unique location.

What will you do
- You will answer emails from clients and relations;
- You will take requests and process them in the system;
- You will have telephone contact with clients for castle visits, catering, weddings and events;
- You advise business and private clients on possibilities and arrangements;
- You prepare and send offers;
- You plan appointments and viewings;
- You update relation data in the system;
- You accompany viewings;
- You support the preparation of various requests and meetings.

We are looking for an intern who:
- is following an HBO education in the direction of, for example, event management, tourism or commerce;
- Is customer-oriented and has good communication skills;
- works accurately and knows how to keep an overview;
- is enthusiastic, independent and motivated;
- is interested in hospitality, events and special locations;
- is at least 18 years old.
