Accessibility with visual impairment
We would like to draw the attention of our visitors with visual impairment to a number of points of interest. The castle is located on a vast estate, which is crossed by several moats with drawbridges without safe railings. The castle can only be reached on foot. Driving up by car to the drawbridge to get out is possible; not for parking.

Accessibility for wheelchairs and mobility scooters
The castle gardens are partially accessible by wheelchairor mobility scooter. The main paths are paved; other areas have gravel or semi-paved surfaces. There are a few steps in the Roman Garden. Driving a mobility scooter at walking speed (5 km/h) is permitted. For your convenience, we recommend visiting on less crowded days.

The restrooms near the entrance in the Stable Square are wheelchair accessible.

The castle is unfortunately not accessible for wheelchairs and people with walking difficulties, this because of the many stairs in the castle. Rollators are not allowed in the castle. You can leave them in the hallway (at your own risk).

Accessibility with a guide dog
It is allowed to enter the castle gardens and castle with a guide dog.

Accessibility Facilitiesat
The Stalplein, Restaurant Laverie, Tuynhuis Gabrielle, and the castle are equipped with accessible restrooms.

The parking lot has a few accessible parking spaces. Please note: it is about a 20-minute walk from the parking lot to the castle. You may drive up to the drawbridge to get out of the car, but not to park. From the drawbridge, it is about a 15-minute walk to the castle.
